[ What comprises a bag? Can an ordinary object become a bag? ]
Founded in 2017, Khaore evolved from a conversation examining and questioning the products that exist in our daily lives. The objects we encounter and are interested in are a reflection of how we perceive the world. It unveils the world around us and contextualizes the way we experience these ordinary objects. Inspired by the everyday, our products reveal a neoteric perspective on everyday life.
We are committed to creating a brand that's ever-evolving and mindful of our environment. We work exclusively with small artisanal production studios and aim to source materials locally to minimize our carbon footprint. We believe that change starts from within, no matter how small.
For our fabric-embroidered bags, we use only deadstock textiles sourced from India, Japan, Taiwan, and Italy. All embroideries and beading are done by hand, working with artisans in India and Taiwan.
Our leather bags use Italian leather and are produced in small family-owned studios in Italy and China. These pieces are made in limited quantities and won't be reproduced once the leather supply is exhausted.
As for packaging, we use FSC-certified papers with environmentally friendly coatings, allowing our products to be recycled after use.
