Khaore is a creative collaboration between designers Raiheth Rawla and Wei Hung Chen. Founded in New York in 2017, Khaore evolved from a conversation examining and questioning the products that exist in our daily lives and what makes them special to us. The objects we own are a reflection of and telling to our nature. As a studio, we are interested in the possibilities that lie in materials and the exploration of silhouettes, inspired by the mundane and everyday, Khaore bags are artistic reinterpretations of these objects, crafted to introduce a neoteric perspective to our audience.

What compromises a bag? Can an ordinary object be art? Can it be functional?

Since its debut collection “Roadside”, Khaore has received press from a consistent sources such as Vogue, Numero, WWD and Sunday Times. In 2019, Khaore was a recipient of the ANDAM Accessories Prize in Paris and a finalist for the Villa Noailles Accessories Prize in Hyeres, where Khaore received sponsorship to use upcycled Swarovski crystals to develop pieces for a special collection.
